Edit an Appointment
There are different places in the platform where you can edit an appointment. In this article, we will guide you through how to edit a consultation appointment from the Schedule View.
Please note: In an existing appointment, you will not be able to edit the patient or the location of the appointment. If you need to make changes to either of these, you will need to delete the appointment and create a new one with the correct patient and location.
1. Go to "Schedule"
2. Click on the appointment you’d like to edit
3. A window will appear on the right. Click the icon in the top-right corner to edit the appointment
4. Here, you can edit most details of the appointment. However, the patient and location cannot be changed, you’ll need to delete the appointment and create a new one. Let’s go ahead and change the appointment date.
5. After updating the date and time, click “Save Changes” to confirm
6. Here, you can choose whether or not to notify the patient about the changes. Once you've made your selection, click “Update” to confirm
7. You’ll now see that the appointment has been updated to the new date and time
