Setting Up Workflows


Workflows are automated actions that trigger when a tag is assigned to a patient. They ensure the right action is taken consistently, whether that is sending a form or restricting a patient from booking online. 


There are two types of actions:

  • Send Form — automatically sends one or more forms to the patient when the tag is assigned
  • Block Booking — prevents the patient from booking online through the booking widget or consumer app



Overdue Invoice

Comes pre-configured with a Block Booking workflow applied to all locations. This can be edited to apply to specific locations only, or disabled altogether.


New Patient

Workflows can be added to send forms automatically to new patients, gathering key details such as address, GP or contact information ahead of the appointment to ensure staff have everything they need without having to follow up manually. You can set up multiple workflows specific for certain offices and/or service(s). 


Custom tags

Workflows can be added to custom tags if needed. Send a relevant consent or medical form for patients who have been tagged with a contraindication or prevent a patient with an unresolved concern from booking online until the clinic has had a chance to follow up.
