Set up Tag Permissions
Permission levels ensure that the right staff members have the right level of access to tags. Receptionists and clinicians can see and assign tags as part of their day-to-day work, while configuration — such as creating tags and setting up workflows — is reserved for those managing the clinic.
| Permission | What they can do |
|---|---|
| None | No access to tags. Tags are not visible on patients or in Settings. |
| View | See tags on patients across all surfaces — Patient 360, appointment sidebar, search, and dashboard. |
| Edit | Everything in View, plus assign and remove existing tags on patients from Patient 360 and the appointment sidebar. |
| Create and Edit | Full access — create, rename, disable, and configure tags and workflows in Settings → Tags, in addition to everything in Edit. |
Permission levels are assigned per staff role and can only be configured by staff with access to Permissions.
