What Notifications Do Patients Receive?



Patients receive both email and SMS notifications with reminders and confirmations regarding their appointment and invoice. 


This article explains when they go out and through which channel.

Surgery booked

  • SMS if the arrival time is set

  • If the arrival time is set, that time will show.
  • If no arrival time is set, the email will say “Time to be confirmed”

  • The email contains the address of the clinic.

Reminder - 1 week before the appointment
  • SMS
1 week before the appointment

This SMS will not be sent if the appointment was booked less than 6 days before.
Reminder - 24 hours before the appointment 
  • SMS
24 hours before the appointment
  • Date and time
  • Clinic name

This SMS will not be sent if the appointment was booked less than 48 hours before.
Appointment cancelled
  • Email
  • SMS
Immediately after the appointment is cancelled.
  • Cancellation confirmation
  • Date and time
  • Clinic name


Appointment Rescheduled
  • Email
  • SMS
Immediately after the appointment is rescheduled.
  • Reschedule confirmation
  • New date and time

Surgery arrival time updated

  • Email
When the surgery arrival time is added

Invoice
