Hide Published Journal Entries and Delete Drafts
This guide shows how to delete draft journal entries and hide published journal entries from patients. This can be useful if a journal entry was created by mistake or contains incorrect information.
What is a draft journal?
A draft journal is a journal entry that has not yet been shared with the patient. Drafts are for internal use while you’re still completing or reviewing the content.
What you can do with draft journals
While a journal is in Draft status, you can:
- Edit it at any time
- Publish it when it’s ready to be shared with the patient
- Delete it if it was created by mistake or is no longer needed
Deleting a draft journal
Draft journals are never visible to patients.
- Only draft journals can be deleted
- You’ll always see a confirmation warning before deletion
- Once deleted, the journal cannot be recovered
Hiding a journal
- Only published journals can be hidden
- Hidden journals are not deleted and remain part of the clinic’s internal records but are not visible for the patient any longer
- Once hidden, you cannot unhide it. You need to create a new one.
