How to Use Journal Authorship

Journal Authorship lets anyone in the clinic start a journal entry and name someone else as its author. For example, a nurse can write up a visit and assign it to the surgeon, and the patient sees the surgeon as the author. Only the author can sign and publish the entry, everyone else can save it as a draft for review. The Authorship panel shows who started, authored, and published each entry, and every change is logged for HIPAA compliance.
