Financials - Overview

Financials is where the money side of your practice lives — what you've quoted, what you've invoiced, what's been paid, and what's still outstanding.

Quotes and Invoices

Adoreal treats quoting and invoicing as two stages of the same process rather than two separate tools.

You can create a quote to share with a patient before anything is committed to — an estimate of what a treatment or procedure will cost. Edit and adjust as needed until the patient is satisfied. If the patient goes ahead, you can approve the quote that will then be converted into an invoice, carrying the details forward rather than starting from scratch.

An invoice is the billable record. It can come from an approved quote, or you can create one directly when there's no quoting stage involved — for example, a product sale or when a patient has already decided to proceed. Invoices can also be linked to an appointment, which keeps the charge connected to the booking it belongs to. When an invoice includes a product, that item's stock is deducted from your inventory automatically.

Patients have access to all invoices in their Adoreal account and will be notified whenever a new invoice is issued. 

Payments

Patients can pay online, through their Adoreal account or at the practice. Payments made through Adoreal, either through the patient account or with card at the practice, will automatically update the invoice status. Payments made outside of Adoreal, such as cash, check, financing or external bank transfer, need to be recorded manually on the invoice.

Finding quotes and invoices

The Financials overview gives you a complete picture of your practice's invoices and quotes. From here, you can review outstanding payments, track issued quotes, and filter results by office or status. The same records are also available for an individual patient in Patient360, which is where you'll usually work when you're handling one person's billing.
