What is a Service

In the Adoreal platform, a Service refers to any procedure your clinic offers to patients—this can include surgeries, treatments, injections, and more.

Each service type includes multiple components that need to be completed in order to ensure the service is fully functional, professionally presented, and properly configured for booking and invoicing.

Service Types & Their Structure

Surgical services are structured into the following sections:

1. General Information

  • Service name

  • Service description

  • Toggle to make the service active and visible to patients

  • Upload consent forms

2. Consultation

  • Choose On-Site or Virtual

Things to Consider When Setting Up a Service:

  • Set Up Both On-Site and Virtual Options
If your clinic offers both formats, make sure to fill in the relevant details for each option.

  • Confirm Your Pricing Strategy
Decide whether you want to charge for consultations, follow-ups, or other steps and complete the pricing fields accordingly.

  • Manage Online Booking Visibility
Use the “Allow patients to book online” toggle for both On-Site and Virtual formats to control what patients can see in the booking widget.

  • Set the Time Duration for Each Appointment
Clearly define how long each service takes to help manage the schedule accurately.

  • Add Before & After instructions and detailed timing-based guidance
Include general instructions for patients to read before and after appointments, as well as detailed instructions (e.g., “1 day before surgery,” “1 week after,” etc.).

  • Add Consent Forms
Ensure you attach relevant consent forms to each service, especially where required legally or medically.

  • Add Images (optional)
Upload images such as before-and-after examples to give patients a clearer understanding of the procedure.

Where Services Appear

Once your service is created, assigned to a treatment provider, and linked to at least one location, it will appear in your clinic's booking widget on your website.

When a patient visits your booking page, they will see:

✅  A search bar to find services by name

✅  Service categories like Consultation – Surgery or Skin/Body

✅  The available time slots and providers assigned to those services

Troubleshooting Tip
If a service isn’t showing in the booking widget, double-check the following:

✅ The service is marked as active and visible in marketplace

✅ It’s assigned to at least one treatment provider

✅ It’s linked to an active location

✅ The provider has availability set up in the schedule
