Why a Service or Treatment Isn’t Available for Online Booking
There are several reasons why a service or appointment type (such as a treatment) may not appear in the online booking widget. Below, we’ll walk through the most common causes and how to resolve them.
The Service or Appointment is not marked as "Visible on Marketplace"
To be visible to patients to book, a Service or Appointment type has to be marked as "Visible on Marketplace", on both the Location level and Treatment provider level.
Note: Surgeries do not have the option to be allowed to be booked online.
To do it, follow the below steps.
- Go to Settings -> Location management -> Choose the correct location -> Click the "Service" tab -> Choose the correct service.
- In the General Information section, make sure the box "Visible on Marketplace" is ticked.
- Then go to each appointment type (Consultation, Follow-up/Post Operative, Treatment etc) and tick "Allow patients to book online" if they should be able to book it by themselves. Remember that Consultations and Follow-up/Post Operative have both an On-site and Virtual options to check.
- Next, you need to check the same settings for the treatment provider. Adoreal allows treatment provider-specific settings, so that you can allow certain providers to be available for online booking while others aren't.
- Go to Settings -> Team Management -> Choose the correct treatment provider -> Click on the tab "Services"
- Choose the Service you want to check and click "View details". Make sure it's for the correct location.
- Go through the same options as outlined for the Location above: General information and then each appointment type.
The service isn't assigned to the treatment provider
A service has to be assigned to a treatment provider to be visible online. Follow the below steps to assign it.
