Understanding and Managing Arrival time for Surgery
While Consultations, Treatments, and Follow-up/Post-op appointments only have one appointment time, Surgery appointments let you set both the start time of the surgery and the arrival time of the patient.
This is useful to block off both the actual surgery time in the Schedule for the treatment provider, while still having the patient arrive well ahead of the operation.
You can set the arrival time at the time of creating the appointment, or at a later stage once your schedule is set. If no Arrival time is set 2 weeks ahead of the Surgery, you'll get a reminder task in-app to do so.
⚠️ The patient will always only see the Arrival time in their communications, never the Surgery time. If no Arrival time is set, the patient will be informed that it will be communicated at a later stage.
