Overview of Paperwork
Paperwork lets you gather everything related to a patient's procedure — documentation, appointments, files, and journal entries — in one centralized place. Anyone involved in the procedure, from the surgeon to the follow-up nurse, can open it to find what they need, whenever they need it, without digging through separate parts of the patient's record.
Create separate folders, called Packets, to easily keep track of each procedure, from consultation to follow-up and beyond. Documentation that always needs to be completed for a procedure can be saved as a Template and applied when creating a new Packet, saving you time and making sure that no paperwork is missed.
Paperwork is visible to clinic staff only and does not appear in the patient app.
There are two staff roles in Paperwork:
- All staff — can create Packets, link appointments, files and journal entries, and fill in and save documentation as a draft.
- Staff with edit access — can do everything above, and also re-edit saved documentation and mark it as complete.
Contact your GDE to set up edit access for the relevant team members.
