When a gift card is purchased, it's initially tied to the buyer's account and needs to be assigned to the intended recipient before it can be used. This article walks you through the different ways to assign a gift card to a patient in Adoreal — whether directly from the original invoice or by entering a code the patient provides.
After the transfer, the gift card status will update to "Transferred."
